Radiant Panels

Radiant Panels is a temporary public art proposal developed around a series of clear polycarbonate panels illuminated from their edges with integrated LED lighting. During the day, the installation remains largely transparent, allowing the surrounding plaza and city to remain visible through it. At night, light activates the panel edges and transforms the clear surfaces into a field of illuminated colour.

The project explores how a minimal material system can shift between transparency and visual intensity while creating an approachable spatial experience within Calgary’s winter public realm.
